This site isn't what you think - it only covers 3 sports, with the emphasis on paintball...

The design of the site isn’t too offensive if you are a macho guy, but anyone else might find the camouflage, guns and khaki green a bit alienating. Pages look messy and cluttered, and content is not presented in a logical manner.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

With only three sports to navigate between, you would think the site would be easy to use. You would be wrong. Each sport is like a maze and expect to waste a lot of time trawling through irrelevancies to get to what you are looking for.

There are a pitiful 4 brands representing the baseball and softball brands, and paintball is in an enigmatic world of its own. For a site only covering three sports that is a really poor show.

One of the better things about this sports shop is the shipping threshold of $200. Basically, if buying an item less or equal to $200 you won’t pay shipping, and if you are spending more than that, the first $200 of your purchases are not included when calculating the shipping costs.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..

Quite bizarrely for online sports stores, there is no online support, nor tracking of your order. You can email, call or even write, but responses are far from immediate.

How good is the image quality? Can you see the product you want to buy?.

This sports gear have done too good a job with their camouflage design scheme, and made seeing the products pretty tough. Pictures are small and of poor quality, with no facility to zoom into particular elements of the product.

How detailed is the description of products/services? Quality, detail and scope of text..

Paintballing is clearly Ozarks first love, as the descriptions of these products are extensive and detailed. Shame the same can’t be said for their baseball and softball products, which only get a few scant lines.

Is this shop going to cost the earth? Do they offer reasonable prices in comparison to other online sports shops?.

Granted you might find the prices a few dollars cheaper on Ozarks for sports gear, but it is probably worth and extra 5 bucks to be able to see what you are purchasing, and track you order online.
