Costco.com is the official website for the Costco Wholesale Corporation.  They claim to offer thousands of items online that you can't find in your local Costco store.

What types of products can I buy on this site? Or what can't I buy on this site? Is this an online megastore with everything a home shopper could dream of or is it lacking in choice? We know the deal..
Terrible website - unclear prices and bad service.

They might have more than what you'll find at your local Costco but they certainly don't have everything you'll find at your local Costco for your home and garden.  They don't have the smaller items that people shop for at those kinds of stores.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded. .

The site isn't particularly navigator friendly as they seem to be pushing the products they're looking to sell more than anything else.

Why is it different to other stores online? We graded on originality, design, backgrounds, colors, style and innovation..

Costco itself - being one of the first of its kind - is definitely innovative but the website isn't at all.  You'd think that a company that is currently one of the most successful retailers in the world would invest more in their online store.

What is the shipping policy here? Does the site offer express, next day delivery, guaranteed or international shipping? We read the small print and count the costs..

At Costco.com all the shipping and handling prices and included in the item price. This makes you wonder how much of the cost is shipping and how much isn't? We prefer a bit more transparency and to know exactly what the product cost is and what the shipping cost is.

What deals does this site offer to online consumers? Are there offers for returning customers? Is this generally an expensive or a bargain e-shop?.

We tested a few different Costco stores and while they do offer different things at the online store as opposed to the regular stores we did find that the prices weren't necessarily any better online.  They also don't offer any online sale prices.

Their home store locator was not particularly problematic. It's safe to say that they do a better job of running an offline store than an online one.

They offer an AMEX Costco card and of course anyone who wants to shop at Costco.com needs to be a member of a Costco Club.  Costco membership is $50 per year, per household.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support, live chat and telephone contacts available to users..

Their customer service wasn't very helpful over the phone and when we had an inquiry about a specific product they insisted that we call the branch as they couldn't help us.
