We thought that Yahoo had closed Geocities down forever, but apparently one website has managed to survive.  If you’ve used the internet at all in the past ten years, WeddingGiftStore.com will be nothing but pure comedy gold.

The Picture says it all

The gift ideas listed are somewhat classy; various picture frames and nice glasses are on display.  But we especially loved the custom Jan Endres poetry section, where you can have crappy poetry written and then framed for a low-low price.

This website was actually designed in the 90’s. While most of the time, when we say that, we are speaking figuratively, in this case, we are speaking literally.

This gift store doesn’t have a shopping cart- it has an “order form” where you input your information and wait for a call or letter confirming your purchase.

If the Wedding Gift Store had an RSS feed, or a Twitter page, the universe would explode on itself.  There aren’t even animated .gifs (So we guess it isn’t a Geocities site after all).

There aren’t any special deals at the Wedding Gift Store, and the prices are pretty high as it is, for a gift shop.
