GoodysOnline.com is an old-fashioned small department store that is current in 39 of the 50 US states.  They're website however, is a little too old-fashioned and in our line of business, we feel that if you're a company that won't invest in a great site - don't be online!

What types of clothes can I buy on this site? Or what can't I buy on this site? Is this an online megastore with everything a fashion shopper could dream of or is it lacking in choice? We know the deal..
There's nothing to buy here... literally.

This website is (unfortunately) only for information and not for online shopping.  It's a shame that this fashion store isn't keeping up with the competition by offering the chance to actually buy their products online.

How large is the brand range on this site? Are we limited to a narrow selection of big name brands or does this site offer real consumer choice?.

GoodysOnline.com doesn't offer any products online but they do advertise their list of brands.  The list, compared to other department stores of the same size, is quite small.  If you're looking for good variety - look elsewhere.

Does this site have the 'IT' factor? We graded the look and feel of the site. Is its style accessible? High-brow? Does the site integrate or reflect the clothes being sold? Are there cool images, models, music or videos?.

The site is poorly designed and it doesn't try to hide the fact that it's quite amateur.  It's not interactive at all and frankly, it really didn't want to make us visit an actual land based store.  We were thoroughly unimpressed.

Quality of the information. Here we look at the quality of the product descriptions and images on the site. Does the customer get a good idea of the clothing product's size, look and feel?.

Even for a site that isn't operating as online stores and is only working as a sort of enhanced business card for the business, it's really lacking.  The content is poorly displayed and doesn't do anything to draw the reader in.  There's nothing left to the imagination here and everything that's laid out is flat out boring.

What deals does this site offer to online consumers? Are there offers for returning customers? Is this generally an expensive or a bargain e-shop?.

GoodysOnline.com does offer their special store deals however when we tried to load their "Weekly Ad" all we got was a message that said "No online advertising is available at this time".  So tell us, Goody's, WHY ON EARTH HAVE A WEBSITE THEN???

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out..

They're online fashion store, right? So, theoretically they could/should have an internet presence even if they're not selling their products online.  However, they don't have any added presence on social networking or bookmarking sites. At the VERY least they could have an RSS feed to subscribe to - but they don't. (We can't imagine they update this website more than once in 6 months anyhow...)

The one thing that GoodysOnline.com does seem to offer online is the ability to sign up for their credit card.  Seems a little sketchy that the one thing the invest in is getting your money but they don't invest in the customer experience.  We're not sold on this clothing shop.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support, live chat and telephone contacts available to users..

To ice the cake and top it with a cherry, the support at Goody's clothes store is terrible.  We couldn't get through to a representative. Once we did and we asked about the online advertisement not loading they had no idea what we were even talking about (yup, the rep didn't even know they had a website).  Time to catch up to the competition, Goody's or you'll just be left in the dust!
