With a clothes shop like Bloomingdales you'd really expect them to have a better website.  At a first glace we were impressed but when we dug a bit deeper we saw that it was shiny on the outside but empty on the inside.

The website looks pretty on the outside and seems to be very interactive but once you start using it you'll see that the technology is very primitive (i.e., search function, inflexible/non-intuitive options selections).

There isn't much invested by way of content at this online fashion store - the descriptions aren't very helpful and the pictures are many times just from one angle.

They do have some specials that run online but it usually means spending more money (i.e., spend more money, save more money) - they don't have a particularly large selection in their sale section either and a lot of the items have limited sizes and colors.

Bloomingdales.com doesn't advertise any presence of their clothes shop being represented on social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter.

They offer their own credit card and you can pay bills online in this stores index but we've done extensive customer report research and from what we can see the card is filled with hidden fees and bad service.  They push hard to get you to sign up but they don't continue with great service.

The support options at Bloomingdales.com are there but it's not easy to get someone on the telephone and representatives often sound as if you've just woken them up from a nap.
