Frys has a lot to offer up front, but as you click through the circa-1990 menu bar on the left, the options peel away. A test search for a “gaming computer” showed only 12 options!

What is the shipping policy here? Does the site offer express, next day delivery, guaranteed or international shipping? We read the small print and count the costs. .
Frys is one of those electronics retailers who infuriate us with ridiculous policies, like store locations not having to honor online prices. Why such a policy even exists baffles us, but there is a reason Frys is in the Flop category.

Why is it different to other stores online? We graded on originality, design, backgrounds, colors, style and innovation..

Cheap electronics store are a dime a dozen, and Frys brings nothing new to the table. The website looks like it was designed in the pre-AOL days of the internet.

How interactive is this site? Is there a Facebook Group? Twitter? RSS feeds? Linked In? Forum? We found out..

A site this ancient looking would surprise us if it had any social options to speak of, and lo-and-behold it does not.

What deals does this site offer to online consumers? Are there offers for returning customers? Is this generally an expensive or a bargain e-shop?.
The special deals at Frys are decent, considering the already low prices, but finding them is another story entirely. It took us a good twenty minutes to try and capture a deal on their weekly specials advertised at the top of the page.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with RSS feeds, images, video, mobile and audio..

We don’t think that anyone at Frys has ever heard of YouTube, considering how dated the homepage looks. Multimedia? Not likely.

As mentioned above, Frys refusal to honor online prices at its brick-and-mortar locations is obstinate and pointless. It’s no surprise they get low scores here.
